About me!

Hi! My name is Natalie Krenik and I am a Los Angeles based filmmaker. I studied film and television with a concentration in Directing and a minor in Screenwriting at DePaul University in Chicago.

I was born and raised in Los Angeles, currently residing in Santa Monica, and am excited to be back in my hometown after four years of filmmaking in Chicago! I look forward to deepening my roots and making new connections as my career grows in the film industry.

I have extensive experience working on multiple types of productions — as you can see in my portfolio I’ve worked on numerous short films, a web series, and a music video. I’m constantly looking to expand my resume with new types of content, but I’ve found I really enjoy working on content like TV series or web series.

I interned at Luxhammer Entertainment based in Santa Monica, CA, at the beginning of this year (2024) and gained experience working directly for the CEO and carrying out personal assistant tasks as well as creative intern duties including script coverage, video game coverage, personal brand pitching, and branded content research.

Something I am avidly interested in and would love to end up working on are book adaptations. I grew up reading and still very much enjoy a good book, and I love seeing how filmmakers turn novels into films! One of my favorite series that’s been adapted from novels is Bridgerton and I can’t wait to see what they do with the rest of the storylines!
